Housing leaders will be honored

Twenty leaders of the New Jersey housing industry will receive awards from the New Jersey Builders Association for demonstrating commitment to meeting the needs of the state's diverse and growing population.

"The honorees are an inspiration to others to become involved in New Jersey's greatest challenge: housing its families," Steven J. Caporaso, president of the association, said.

The awards will be formally presented on April 26 during a luncheon at the Atlantic Builders Convention.

The winners are:

Builder of the Year, John W. Barba, area vice president of K Hovnanian Homes, Edison.

Associate of the Year, Tony DiLodovico, principal and vice president Schoor DePalma Engineers and Consultants Inc., Manalapan.

Remodeler of the Year, Matt Majorossy, managing director, Fenix Built Remodeling, LLC, Morristown.

Builder Hall of Fame, John H. Hooper, president of Hooper Builders, Moorestown; Peter Hovnanian, vice president of J.S. Hovnanian, Mount Laurel; Marc Siegel, managing member of Siegel Homes, LLC, Matawan.

Associate Hall of Fame, J. Tyler Carlson, president of Full Circle Group, LLC, Haddon Heights; Catherine Daly, principal of Design East Incorporated, Medford; James R. DeLand, Jr., P.E., P.P., managing partner of Henderson and Bodwell, Consulting Engineers, Somerset; Kelly Zuccarelli, vice president of American Advantage Mortgage Company, LLC, Forked River.

Remodeler Hall of Fame, Frank Malpere, Quality Building & Remodeling Builder, Effort, Pa.

Continuing Service, Stephen H. Shaw, president of Shaw Built Homes, Chester.
